The Valley Youth Philharmonic Orchestra (VYPO) is a youth orchestra that offers talented young musicians, usually in high school and college, a chance to perform in a professional-level orchestra setting. VYPO emphasizes not only music education but also skill development and hands-on performance experience. The orchestra provides a platform for youth to hone their craft, collaborate with others, and showcase their abilities in a structured and professional environment. These types of programs are often vital for young musicians who are looking to advance in their musical careers or continue pursuing music in higher education.

CARE PROJECTS

The CARE (Collect, Archive, Research, Exhibit) Project, a 501(c)(3) organization, collaborates with academic and historical institutions to enrich historical narratives beyond standard research and education, inspired by the award-winning documentary Fading Away. By uncovering and preserving personal stories before they fade into obscurity, CARE Project restores, archives, and exhibits these records, making them publicly accessible. Through digital platforms, exhibitions, and publications, it provides a valuable resource for researchers and educators, fostering a deeper connection to the past. Its mission requires diverse partnerships and expertise to safeguard overlooked histories and ensure they remain part of our collective memory
